French and Belgian authorities respond to the choice to move Salah Abdeslam, blamed for contribution in the November 2015 fear assaults, to a jail in the Paris area where the assaults were done.

 PARIS — Salah Abdeslam, thought to be the main direct member in November's Paris assaults to have survived, was given over to France by Belgium on Wednesday, prosecutors in both nations said.

He was later charged in a French court with homicide associated with terrorism, cooperation in a terrorist connivance and ownership of weapons and explosives, the Paris prosecutor's office declared.
